Prayers for baby Madison and her family

Baby Madison was taken into the arms of God and the angels yesterday. I can only imagine the pain her family is feeling right now. Krista was 36 weeks pregnant and couldn't wait to have her little girl. Instead she will have to deliver a baby that will never take her first breath. Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.

Did some layouts today!

We decided it wasn't a great beach day today so we stayed home. We did some work in the yard and I did some scrap booking! I needed my fix and I think I am done for a bit :)

Park Day with Friends!

We met up with some of our friends from our mom's group yesterday for some fun at the park! The kids had fun climbing, sliding, playing and eating wood chips!

Enjoying Mom's Cake!

Andy got me a cake to celebrate and the kids really enjoyed digging into it after lunch! I heard of this great idea that I plan to start on Zach's 3rd birthday this year. On the morning of your birthday you get to eat cake for breakfast! What a great way to start a birthday! Most of us have to work or go to school on our birthday so that would be a great way to start the day :)

Tea Time at Martha Green's!

Yesterday I got together with some lovely ladies from one of my mom's groups for tea time at Martha Green's in Redlands. It was such a nice time! It's always nice to get together with the other moms when there are not little ones running around and requiring that you take care of them!

3-2

How the heck am I 32 years old? I still feel 26 at most. I am so thankful to be where I am at 32 though. Life could not be much better! Happy Birthday to ME!

Birthdays and Playdates!

On Monday we celebrated Andy's 32nd birthday! Happy Birthday to my wonderful husband! The kids have a new thing they love to do with Andy. Zach calls it "two kids" whenever he is holding one, the other wants to be held at the same time. It's a good thing he is in shape because that's over 50 lbs of kids!

On Tuesday we had some friends over for a playdate and Ava found her passion for coloring! She just loved it! An artist? Perhaps!

Then on Wednesday Steph and Ray welcomed little Addison Margaret to the world! I can't wait to meet you, little one!

When there's nothing to lose and there's nothing to prove...

I'll be dancing with myself, oh oh oh oh. Oh oh oh oh oh!

Glen Ivy!

Yesterday I celebrated my 32nd birthday a little early by treating myself to a spa day with friends! I had never been before and boy was I amazed! It is seriously like a tropical oasis nestled in the middle of suburbia. You drive up and see lush greenery and palm trees all around. Once inside there are pools, mineral pools, chairs for lounging, bars for drinking, places to eat and my two favorites, club mud and the grotto! At club mud you go into a muddy pool and slather red mud all over your body. I wish I had known that they offered a picture because it was truly a sight to see! After the mud we lounged by the pool and had a couple of drinks and a snack. Next we went down an elevator into the grotto! It's a bunch of rooms made to look like underground caves! There the attendants coated us in this sea weed green lotion stuff then we went into a sauna of sorts and rubbed it in so that our skin would be silky smooth. After washing it off we went to another cave and drank tea and ate green apples! It must be a detoxifying thing. After the grotto we feasted on lunch at Cafe Sole. Once we were done there it was back to the pool for more relaxing! If it hadn't have been for my eye fiasco the day would have been absolutely perfect. I got something in my eye that made it swell up and water to the point where I couldn't open one! That was pretty miserable. All in all the day was absolutely blissful and I'm thankful the eye thing happened at the very end :)

You got new boobs?

The other day Zach found a bag of old bras. One of them is pretty fancy with sparkles and stuff! Zach took it out of the bag and asked, "you got new boobs?" I tried to keep a straight face as he began to put on my bra! If you look closely you can see that I have not yet gotten new boobs, but I am in desperate need of them thanks to you and your sister!

Red Sox at Angels!

For Andy's birthday he wanted Angels tickets. I figured it would be fun to see a game against the Red Sox so we could have our house rivalry going! Just so happened that they were playing each other the week before his birthday! Great timing! We went last night and had a ton of fun. I usually love it until the 6th inning, then I start getting bored. We were packing up to leave when it started getting really good, but we had a baby sitter and both have to work today so we didn't see the end. It was a great night out though with no kids!

My Mother's Day!

What a wonderful Mother's Day! It's always hard to be away from our mother's but it's nice to have our own little family here. I woke up to a breakfast of hawaiian sweet bread french toast, laid in bed for a while after breakfast, Andy took the kids to Costco to give me a some time to myself then we headed to the pool, came home and played outside with my new lens and my new point and shoot while Andy made dinner. We topped the night off with some ice cream! It was a nice, lazy Sunday!

Happy Mother's Day!

To all of my wonderful friends that are, or have, mother's! I hope your day is extra special and filled with too much joy and love!

This was Zach's mother's day gift to me from daycare. It's so precious with his little hands all over the pot :)

Crazy!

I am feeding Ava dinner. I let her feed herself towards the end and she is enjoying it. There is no food left in her bowl. I take the spoon and bowl away. She proceeds to scream bloody murder! I remove her from the high chair and she does this body contortion that I have never seen before. Her head and feet are moving in a rhythmic motion back and forth, back and forth. I start laughing hysterically! What else can I do? Zach says, "What happened?" I say, "Your sister is crazy!", he says "She crazy?", I say, "She's crazy, I tell ya!" and he says "You tell me?" Bwahahahahahahahaha! Yes, darling, after being sick for so long I think we have all gone crazy!

You hurt my feelings!

Is Zach's new favorite phrase! Any time we say or do something he doesn't agree with or like, and sometimes just when we look at him funny, he busts out the "you hurt my feelings" card! Master manipulator at at 2 and a half! I am trying to explain that he is over using it in a little boy that cried wolf way, but he's really not getting it. Someday!

Three of the four of us also have pink eye. One of these pics is an endearing picture of Zach's eye gunk! The others are from our outside time because even though we are all sick we have to get out of the house at least for a little bit.
