Long Beach Aquarium at the Library

A friend found out that the aquarium was coming to the public library today so we were excited to check it out! The library itself is so great and we really don't take advantage of it enough. The aquarium part was cool, but very brief. The kids got to touch starfish, sea cucumbers, baby sharks etc. Ava was the brave one (of course) and Zach was a little more hesitant. The library itself houses a bunch of small animals from lizards to birds and snakes to tarantulas! The kids all love sitting in the tree and reading their books. It was a fun play date!

Father's Day at Disney?!

Andy is really the best dad ever! He agreed to spend his day at Disneyland because it was the last day we could go before the summer is blocked out. In fact, it was actually his idea! We finally made it back to the Toy Story ride and it was great! Ava and I loved it. She didn't keep her glasses on, but she still had fun shooting at the targets. We lived like Pirates on Tom Sawyers Island and Zach even braved a couple of the caves this time. Ava went right through them with her Dad. She is a brave little girl! They all ventured on the crazy swinging bridges and I just about had a heart attack when a group of people came on with us and the kids were falling all over the place. Wouldn't you think to wait a minute if little kids are on there? Some people are just ridiculous!

Fro Yo Playdate!

We met up with our playgroup for frozen yogurt on Friday. It was tough for me because I can't have dairy, but luckily Zach picked the only non-dairy fro yo in the place so I got to sneak a few bites. Then we headed to the park in our association. The kids love the bridge and this time they discovered the drain under it and proceeded to throw things into it and practice their yodaling skills! We told them the trolls under the bridge were probably not to happy ;-)

Pretty Girls and a New Baby!

We got to meet baby Evan over the weekend and he is so precious! Ava and his big sister had much more fun with each other though because we all know how boring new babies can be ;-)

Cute Pix from Last Week

I've haven't done a lot of journaling updates because we haven't done a whole lot out of the norm in the last week or so. Andy did have his wisdom teeth out today and that was very interesting! These are some pixs from the week if June 6, 2010.

Sibling Love :-)

This moment just melted my heart! I love when they are loving each other and not beating each other up.

Pool Day!

The weather is finally getting and staying warm here. The kids are loving their pool days. We had one with our mom's group this week, then we went again today. Ava loves the water! I thought she was going to hate it.

Ava was happy even though it looks like it could be something else :-)

Growing Way to Fast!

Zach is starting Pre-K soon and needed a new backpack. He picked out transformers. Then, of course, Ava needed a backpack too and she picked out Princesses. They just need to stop growing.

Mini Mozart!

Ava loves music and dancing! Sometimes her music isn't music to our ears, but she loves it none the less. We are starting her in dance soon and it's going to be so much fun!

Memorial Day Fun

My guitar hero!

Ava lifting weights that weigh more than her!

We went to a friends house for a bbq on Monday and the kids found ways to entertain themselves :-)
